• We recently found about 10 orders over the last three weeks that were charged by Stripe, but do not appear as WooCommerce orders, or in the Stripe debug logs. They have order numbers in Stripe metadata, but these numbers do not exist within WooCommerce. It appears that someone is checking out and being charged, but then some kind of break is happening before being processed by Woo. No emails are being sent either.

    During this time (1/16 – 1/31) there were about 225 other successful orders. It’s very hard to test and troubleshoot since we can’t directly replicate it.

    The site is hosted on Kinsta and has no additional caching. No 500 errors in the error logs.

    Stripe Modal Checkout is deactivated
    Inline Credit Card Form is enabled
    Payment Request Buttons is enabled
