Orders get converted to STANDARD POST type when edited | WordPress.org

When I edit an order, it gets saved as a standard POST Type, and loses most of the data associated with the order. Anyone else have this problem? I am using the latest version of WP and WooCommerce, with an Elegant Themes theme.

i had the same problem and here`s my solution:

download the role editor plugin > https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/

create a user type without the hability to create and publish posts
when u change the order status with this user he wont be able to create posts so the order stays the same!
