Orders failed due to postcode not matching on woocommerce?

    I have some orders which are failing and this is the message I see:

    We couldn’t verify the postal code in the billing address. If the issue persists, suggest the customer to reach out to the card issuing bank.

    This happened to a customer whose previously ordered before and there was no issue. It also happened to a new customer which is pretty frustrating. The payment is pending on the card but order is failed.

    Hi there,

    This error message typically indicates that there is a mismatch between the billing address entered by the customer and the address on file with their card-issuing bank. Even if a customer has successfully made a purchase before, the bank’s address verification system (AVS) may still flag an issue if there are any discrepancies in the information provided. That being said, I checked your SSR and I would suspect that there might be a component conflict here that could cause this.

    WooCommerce Payments makes use of Stripe under the hood. I can see you also have “Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce: by Payment Plugins
    support@paymentplugins.com – 3.3.39” active. Would it be ok to deactivate this to see if that makes any changes?

    Whether or not you need both is less of a technical but more of a conceptual question.
    I believe both plugins are equally secure. The reason why I suggested to turn one off is because “two of the same kind are bound to interfere”.
