# Orders

 * On my website it seems that the status of the orders have some parameters that
   we cannot change. When people chose payment by check and if we do not touch the
   order few hours after their orders the orders closes automatically. We do not
   know ho to change that and improve it.

 * Can you try to disable or increase the “Hold Stock” option in WooCommerce>Settings
   >Product>Inventory page?
 * I suspect that this is happening because WooCommerce cancels these orders after
   the “waiting for payment” time is exceeded.
