 * I’m confused as to how to order my portfolios. I have four categories, but see
   each portfolio on one big list, and they seem to be distributed in a pattern 
   I can’t understand.

 * Hi,
    I see what you mean, you need to order the custom objects (like posts) within
   a taxonomy term (like category). The free version does not support this feature,
   you can re-order only an archive (all objects) order. However you can consider
   to upgrade to [Advanced Post Types Order](http://www.nsp-code.com/premium-plugins/wordpress-plugins/advanced-post-types-order/)
   which does what you need.
