# Ordering Posts

 * I have a meta field called ‘events_start_date’ which displays the month and the
   day. I need a way to order the posts by this field so that events stay together
   by month and stay in order by day of the month. How do I set this up?

 * Hello and thanks for using AQL!
 * You should be able to order by meta field using the **Meta Value **option in 
   the **Post Order By**. This is going to be dependant on what the value of that
   meta field is however and might not be possible with AQL.
