    Hi,

I searched in the forum, but could not find any solution.
If i try to change the ordering of the galleries of an album, it does not work. It just takes the default order by date. Although it is possible to change the order in the backend.

It worked in the previous versions until 1.9.x…

    kind regards
    Jürgen

  • @jurgen: I read that you use Qtranslate. I use Polylang.
These are both plugins meant to make a multilingual website / multilingual content management.

Photocrati wrote that Qtranslate is not known to be compatible with NextGen gallery. My experience is that Polylang is not compatible with NextGen gallery.

So my hypothesis is that there is a problem if you want to have a multilingual website AND at the same time use NextGen gallery.

    This seems to be impossible.

@jurgen: can you let me know if in your case Qtranslate caused the problem?
    That would confirm my hypothesis.

@jurgen: to respond to your question: “hmmm….and the album makes the order as done in “manage albums” …?”

    Yes

@loekarin: no, the mentioned plugin qtranslate was already deactivated before…

    thank you

@jürgen – If you insert the album using the IGW (“green button”) in the TinyMCE editor’s visual tab then you can sort the album’s contents using the Sort / Exclude accordion panel. If you have already inserted the album you may need to remove it, then re-insert it and set your sort order.

You may also need to clear the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous to see the effects immediately.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
