# orderby=author

 * I have lists of books on my site. I sort them by subject and by author. The subject
   lists go by category, and then are ordered by title.
 * I want to sort the author lists alphabetically by last name of author of the 
   book.
 * Is there anyway to do that?

 * I have tried both
 * [catlist category1= category=”book” tags=E numberposts=5 pagination=yes customfield_orderby
   =LNe order= asc excerpt=yes excerpt_size=55 excerpt_strip=no thumbnail=no thumbnail_class
   =cat_list_tn category2= category=”book” tags=E numberposts=5 pagination=yes customfield_orderby
   =FN order= asc excerpt=yes excerpt_size=55 excerpt_strip=no thumbnail=no thumbnail_class
   =cat_list_tn]
 * and
 * [catlist category1 =”book” tags=E customfield_orderby=LNe order= asc category2
   =”book” tags=E customfield_orderby=FN order= asc numberposts=5 pagination=yes
   excerpt=yes excerpt_size=55 excerpt_strip=no thumbnail=no thumbnail_class=cat_list_tn]
 * but both just results in listing only the last field listed in sort.
