    I have read the page - http://docs.woothemes.com/document/custom-tracking-code-for-the-thanks-page/

    I am implementing Adwords Conversion Tracking via Google Tag Manager.
    I need to know what variable to insert in 'var google_conversion_value' to capture the order total.

    Right how, i have it as the following, which does not work:
    var google_conversion_value = $order->get_order_total();

    Please help. Thanks

    The bit on the left of the equals sign is javascript (browser side) and the bit on the right is php (server side), so this assignment has no chance of working.

    Have a look at this page, where it says:

    If you'd like to populate a value (of google_conversion_value)
    dynamically, select a macro from the drop-down menu or create a
    new one.

    The macro will have to come from your Google account and I don't have access to that.

    There's a lot of reading to do to get this working.
