My order status is automatically going on completed. But that was never the case.

Does anybody else have the same problem and more important does anybody know how to fix this?

    Hi there,

This is usually the case when virtual downloadable products are sold since there is no shipping necessary. I’ve also seen this happen when order status plugins are being used OR if there are custom coding that’s been added. Do you have of these active on your site? If you’re unsure, can you share a copy of your status report as well as a direct link to the product in question?

    Thanks!

Hi and thanks for your quick response.

I don’t have custom coding on my webshop and I am also not selling virtual products..

    Hi @highfiveagency,

    Thanks for the confirmation.

Could you please temporarily switch to the storefront theme and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and your payment gateway, then place a test order to see if that resolves the issue? (You can create/use a 100% discount coupon for the order) If that resolves the issue, please follow this guide to continue the test and narrow down the cause of the issue.

If you can’t do this test on your live site, I’d recommend creating a staging site. If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

If you need further assistance on this, please share your system status report and a link to the product so we can help further.

    Cheers!
