Order received page not working
-
Hello.
On my site (probably after the update of wordpress or woocommerce), when ordering without registration and login stopped appearing page “order-received”, instead of it appears empty basket page.
If you make an order logged in, everything is normal and the “order-received” page is shown correctly.
Help please. The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, I have almost the same problem now after the update. If someone adds a product without logging into the website, it never shows the checkout page (it somehow crashes the website, and you have to close the browser and open it again to see the website), but if you log in, you can order quickly.
Hi @crts,
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.
Additionally, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:
- WooCommerce transients – Clear
- Expired transients – Clear
- Clear template cache – Clear
- Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
- Clear customer sessions -Clear
- Product lookup tables – Regenerate
- Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate
Next, please clear your browser cache and check again.
Hey @rouzbehbeik,
Please follow the steps shared above and ensure you’ve enabled the guest checkout option.
If this makes no difference, please can both of you share a copy of the following:
- System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
- Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Hi @shameemreza,
Thanks for the tips, but they didn’t help me.
Also after updating WooCommerce the database update got stuck. I’m attaching screenshots.Hey, @crts!
I wanted to confirm a few things:
- You mentioned that when ordering something without being logged in it does not show the “order received” page, right? But is the order completed or it fails?
- You ran the conflict test and the issue persisted even with only WooCommerce activated and the Storefront theme, right?
- I see your message was 2 days ago, did the database update finished?
If the database issue persists, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled, update manually by going to
WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Update Database
and see if this works?Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.Looking forward to your reply.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi, @carolm29!
Answers on a few things:
- Yes, order complete.

Hi there @crts,
Thanks for sharing further information on the issue you are facing.
Could you try updating the database while only having WooCommerce as the active plugin and Storefront as the active theme?
As for the shared error message, it seems to be related to the TranslatePress plugin. I’d recommend updating the plugin to any latest version or directly reaching out to their support team.
I hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.
Ok, thanx.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
Nothing has been decided. It’s just the way it is.
