    Hello,

When I add a new product, I need that by default, this new product to be shown first on his respective category.

I noticed that on the database the date of creation is recorded. Is there a option to set the default ordering of products by date of creation (descending)?
If not, can you tell me in which file has the mysql query string, so I can edit it. I know it’s not recommended to edit files, but I really need this function.

    Thank you in advance.

I found out the file/query, but let me know if there is a way without editing files.

    Hi smpinto,

Unfortunately, there is currently no option in the plugin to do this. As you mentioned, you would have to edit the plugin files to code something automatic. As an alternative, we’d suggest using the drag and drop features in the plugin to set the order of the items in your catalog. Once you do it the first time, then you’ll need to drag any new ones to the top when you create them.

    Hi again,
    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately the alternative is not a viable option in my case.
I’ll have to edit the file on every update then.

Please consider adding default reordering options in the future.

    Thanks.
