Order Pay Error

Hi,

Since three updates ago, approximately, I’ve been having an error in the order-pay page, it gives an error of page not found, normally when I update WooCommerce it works again, but there was one time there was no update and changing a setup about guest not being able to buy and resetting as how it should be worked again.

I’m not sure why is this happening I’ve tried disabling all the plugins I have to complement WooCommerce and the problem persisted only when I change the ‘setup’ of WooCommerce does like a ‘reset’ and works again.

Even if so far has an easy fix I’m wondering if someone could help me because this shouldn’t happen.

This usually happens when your WooCommerce endpoints got wiped out. Can you please check if all endpoints are set up correctly in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Page Setup tab > Checkout endpoints?

Did I get it right that it breaks after WooCommerce update only? Can you tell me the exact steps that you usually take to resolve it?

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response in coding brackets.

I didn’t find the checkuot endpoints, the site is in Spanish so it’s a bit confusing, I think you mean the variables to pay like order-pay, order-received, correct me if I’m wrong.

If it’s that, that’s the first I checked and everything is correct.

This happened before an update, at first I thought it was because of that, because I think it was the version that changed. After that it happened two more times, one with no update so in settings > Account & Privacy > Pay as guess and there I unchecked the box that allows you to pay as guest, saved and then I checked it again, saved and worked.

The second time was today, there was an update so I updated it and it worked again the page to redirect to the POS, saying this PayPal worked but to pay with credit card gives an error.

Hi @binavel – sorry for the delay here. You actually don’t have that many plugins active, but I’d still suggest you try a conflict test. Just because this started happening after an update to WooCommerce, doesn’t actually mean that’s the issue. Many times when changes are made, other plugins may have not adapted to those differences quite yet, so can cause similar issues to this one.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Hi @jricketts4,

Thanks for the help, I actually deactivated plugins, thought not everyone and neither the theme.

I’ll try next time it happens with what you told me, because I don’t know what triggers it either so I have to wait.
