[Resolved] Order of redirect execution.

  • I have moved my blog a new domain. Unfortunately, I made mistakes in editing my SQL database, so I have to manually redirect from pages on the old domain to the new. I have certain URLs which are very popular that I would like to individually redirect to specific posts at the new URL.

Then I have a mass of old posts I’d like to redirect via a wildcard redirect to the new home page.

I have reordered the redirects in the Rediections plug-in so that the specific redirects from the old blog redirect to specific URLs on the new. These come first in order and are followed by some wildcard redirects.

The problem is that the redirects don’t seem to follow the order I set. The individual redirects seem to be ignored and are redirected to the new home page, per the wildcard redirect — not the individual page called for in the redirect. That’s not helpful. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.
