Order not confirmed but created

in italy most of the time you use a credit card to pay, it needs to pass over a further confirmation step (inserting a pin, clicking on the internet banking notification on the phone and so). SumUp handle this correctly, once i enter the card for payment the window is replace with the correct bank check procedure.
My problem is that if i dont go on with the procedure (or click Cancel or leave it there) the order is still created “awaiting payment”.
This leads to a bunch of problem, first of all a list of not completed orders and also, since we work with food delivery, the placed order will occupy time slots.
Is there a way your plugin can discard not completed orders?
