• Ever since we upgraded to Woocommerce version 3 our order confirmations are showing huge titles that include the variation details and in some cases even our upsell information. For example when viewing an order that had been placed it used to just show:
“Infinity Collapsible Dance Pro Travel Hula Hoop” but now it is showing: “Infinity Collapsible Dance Pro Travel Hula Hoop – Size: 36″ Infinity Dance Pro – Color: Glitter Silver and Black – Add Hoop Dance Fusion DVD: Yes ( Adds $10.00 ) $10.00”.

This is way too much information and does not look great. Any way to get this back to how it used to be? It would be nice if it would ONLY show the title of the product that was ordered. No need for variations as those are shown directly below and is simply redundant.

    Hey Chris,

This is correct behaviour after the WooCommerce v3.0 update and the first to variations will display in the product title now for a more compact layout and better readability.

If you have more than two variations those will display under the title in the old style.

There is a filter that can be used to disable this data displaying in the title called woocommerce_product_variation_title_include_attribute_name from what I understand.
