Order Marked as Pickup When “Ship to a Different Address” Not Checked

    When delivery is selected if a customer selects “Ship to a Different Address” everything works as it should, but if that checkbox is unchecked then it marks the order as local pickup (despite the fact that the customer selected delivery) and doesn’t charge shipping.

    Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix it??

    @mgrenier7,

    it looks like you’ve disabled that option so I can’t test your checkout process to see what’s happening.

    Did you resolve the issues?

    Yes I had to disable it (just hid it with CSS) because when users unchecked it the issues mentioned occurred. The issue is not resolved unfortunately.

    @mgrenier7,

    I used Chrome’s Inspector tool to reveal the checkbox so I could click it and I wasn’t able to replicate the behaviour you mentioned. All the shipping options are still displayed and I can select whichever of them I want.

    Sorry for the delayed response. This is not resolve. When you place the order, if you click “Proceed to paypal” button then login into your account you will notice that the item is marked as local pickup and the shipping amount is not in the total that is to be charged to your paypal account.
