# Order Emails Not Working

 * Hi, I set up the shop and followed the instructions and did the generate email
   default, but no email comes when we place an order.

 * Do other emails from your site coming to you? I.e. user registration? If not 
   it’s a problem with WordPress email module, please search for your problem in
   WordPress help. Otherwise it seems like it could be Jigoshop issue – could you
   send temporary admin access to support[at]jigoshop.com for us to check you configuration?
 * Anyway – most of problems with emails are because WordPress cannot send them,
   Jigoshop is using `wp_mail()` function which is properly tested.

 * Hi, ok thank you, I think the others are ok. I will be sending it from a different
   email from the one I have here so I hope it comes through ok. I will put my user
   name from here in the subject line.

 * Just tested and it works. Pretty sure [@emexonline777](https://wordpress.org/support/users/emexonline777/)
   resolved by using the [WP Mail SMTP](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/)
   plugin.
