In 2.0.2, order emails don’t send on order completion. The order is written to the database, and is available in the WooCommerce Orders window. I’m using Paypal, and they show that IPN is active and working. All the emails are activated in the WooCommerce settings. Regular WP emails are sent just fine. I’ve tried using the SMTP email plugin, and that doesn’t change anything.

So, seller doesn’t get order notification, buyer doesn’t get invoice, or notification of order completion, with their download link.

Attempting to resend the new order email or processing order email works, but trying to resend customer invoice and completed order just makes the page display the sample email template.

Any ideas on how to fix?

  • Hi,

we have the same problem at http://www.night4day.com. Additionally the stock is not reduced correctly even if the payment is done..

    Please help!

If you copied the woocommerce themes into your custom theme, that could be causing the problem. Replace them with the wocommerce themes in the latest version and it should fix it. That’s what fixed it for me.

If you’ve customized anything, you’ll have to make the changes again. 🙁
