• My logo url is wrong. Admin panel doesn’t contain functionality to change it. I found it written in database in wp_options among big amount of other theme data (in one cell). I changed the url with options.php, and it shows new url now, but it doesn’t seem to change corresponding value in db – old url hadn’t been changed and sqldump shows old value too. Why? What can I do in order to change the url?
It seems that blog was handled in dirty way before, and some things can be messed up.

If it’s in the database, but doesn’t correspond to the settings, it’s probably not in use. Themes and plugins can leave database entries behind when they’re deleted, very few clean up after themselves. WordPress doesn’t have any built-in logo system, so I suspect that to be the case here.

What plugin did you use to add the logo before, or was it built into your theme?
