The features of the free version haven’t changed, PayPal has been always a requirement on it. If you had the option to build other types of contact forms with the plugin then you had a commercial version, in that case install the latest update using your personal download link.
If you don’t remember your personal download link then open a ticket at http://wordpress.dwbooster.com/support to locate and resend you the update link.

Then I share the frustration of News Rise Digital, the reviewer before me. What should have been a simple update just broke the contact form on several of my sites.

I am all of a sudden experiencing issues also, when I try to modify form fields for a volunteer cycling website I now receive the following popup error message on an attempted change:
* Note: The Form Builder is read-only in this version.
This has never occurred before and I have updated the webform numerous times for track cycling events.
As I inherited this website about 10 months ago and had not originally installed this plugin I have no way of knowing if it was a basic or pro version.
Some advice would be appreciated?
