Support » Plugin: Subscribe2 » Option to unsubscribe instead of prompting users to log in

    Directly after subscribing users are told that they can log in to manage their subscriptions and a link to the login page appears. I would like to disable that notification because I do not allow any users to log in to my web site. How can I disable it?

    Only after reloading that page the Subscribe-Unsubscribe field appears. I would rather show it immediately after a new subscriber lands on that page…

  • @tom,

    That message (about in logging in) only applies to Registered users. If you don’t want users logging in to your site disable registrations within WordPress and have all of your subscribers as Public Subscribers.

    For more information on the two different subscriber types have a look in the FAQ section.

    Oh, I see – I typed my own email when testing subscriptions. It is working ok now. Thank you for your answer.

    @tom,

    If the address submitted is already known to your blog then you would have been prompted to log in.
