Option to select any language from floating widget

Is there any way to have a drop-down menu appear instead of select flag for specific languages? I have visitors from around the world visit my site and the only option that I can find is to select certain languages to pop-up once the floating “Translate” tab is clicked. That leaves the only option of selecting every single flag for the pop-up option which would be a very cluttered & clunky display.
At the very least, would it be possible to add a “More Languages…” icon or link when a user clicks on the floating widget? I do not have room nor wish to display the sidebar widget and much prefer the floating widget.
One other big improvement would be to either replace or add the option to change the visual of floating tab to resemble something like the ‘Translate This’ plugin uses (grey BG color with a couple of flags flanking the word “Translate”), as well as similar hover/pop-up functionality. I would gladly give a 5-star review and make a donation for such improvements.
