Option to link outside of wordpress

    Hello,
    I’m interested to use your plugin but understand that it’s using shortcodes. Is there anyway that if we send a newsletter outside of WordPress that we can still track the download (which is in WP) counts? Or must it be setup on a page or post within WordPress?
