Option to exclude specific taxonomies

I noticed when I do a blank search (just hit search without typing anything), items show up that I want hidden. I’d like the option to exclude certain taxonomies, such as the SG-60 plugin’s branding template pages or Before and After’s Goals “posts”.
There’s an option to exclude custom taxonomies, but these still show up. I have created a couple custom taxonomies, and I don’t want to exclude them all. Taking the ID from the branding style guide doesn’t seem to exclude it either. Not sure how to remove these from our search, really. Help?
