Option Panel – Home errors

    Hi

    Are you using latest version of theme ?

    I have test at our side it is working perfect.

    Also tell me which version of wordpress you are using .

    Yeah im using the Lite version of the theme 1.5 and wordpress version 4.0
    The error seems to be coming from the loadscripts.php file

    Pls Deactivate all plugin you have activate .

    It may be any plugin conflict our theme.

    Yeah I have already tried that as well, didn’t work!

    I might try uninstalling the theme and wordpress and try again from scratch.

    I have reinstalled wordpress and the theme and still not working!

    I have been doing some research into it as well and it seems that because the lite version doesn’t have the option of the color picker it is still trying to find the .js file for it. I think a patch needs to be made that checks whether or not the file is there, and if not just don’t display it. Cause at the moment its trying to find it and it cant and runs into the Uncaught TypeError. That’s my though on it anyway.

    Okay we will fix this bug in the next releases.

    But that doesn’t make the option panel to make I mean data is saving inspite of this.

    Kindly confirm that are you using same url for WordPress and site in the general settings of WordPress.

    Yeah the url for WordPress and the site are the same in settings.

    Yeah I can’t save data on the home tab under option panel but the other pages I can.

    Are you getting any errors in the console when you click save button in the home tab except that farbatastic one.

    I get

    POST http://roxybeautyconcepts.com/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=spa 403 (Forbidden)

    when I click save.

    just loading the page gives me the

    GET http://roxybeautyconcepts.com/wp/wp-content/themes/spasalon/option_pannel/js/my-color-picker-script.js?ver=4.0 404 (Not Found)
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘farbtastic’ of undefined

    The error is coming because the WordPress has deprecated the farbtastic color picker.

    But again that doesn’t break the home page settings to save.

    I have the same problem. I can save any changes in the home page of the option panel
