[resolved] Option not to load quicktags.css? (8 posts)

Thank you very much for this plugin.

Would it be possible to optionally disable loading quicktags.css on all pages? I'd rather add the styles to my main stylesheet.

I don't mind adding a functions to my functions.php for that, in that case would you please provide instructions?

    Again, thanks.

  2. No, there's no option to not show it, though you can script a de-enqueue call for the CSS if you wanted.

Out of curiosity, why? Understanding why may lead to me including this option if I can see and agree with the purpose. From my POV, it's a small CSS file that loads the required code for functionality and only on the pages where there are open comments. :)

The plugin loads these files on all pages, not just where there are open comments:

  4. Well THAT ain't right.... And I see why. Okay. Version 2.2 will have this fixed

(FWIW, the code was set to show on all posts and pages, but not category or archive ones... *sigh* My bad)

I updated to v2.2, thanks. The plugin still loads the files listed above on the frontpage (is_front_page) which it probably shouldn't. It doesn't load the files on the homepage (is_home) though.

  6. Totally stupid question... Are you using a static front page and, if so, are comments turned off n that page?

Not a stupid question at all, it turns out :).

Yes it's a static frontpage, and comments were open on it.

Thanks again, I'm all good now.

  8. Whew! I was testing on WP 3.6 and worried it was a new quirk!
