Option for preserveViewport to set zoom level for KML files

Hello,
it is known that when using a KML file the zoom level is ignored, but there’s a way to workaround this, with a little bit of scripting (see here).
I took a look at the source code and it seems that code is already in place in your plugin, but it’s commented.
I tried to uncomment it and it seems to work fine in my case, so I’d like to ask if you can activate it, preferably with an option that can be passed to the shortcode, so that there’s no need to change the plugin’s source code.
