Hi there. I bought the Optimus HQ plugin and it did optimize my images reducing their sizes considerably and improving my PageSpeed score. There is one problem though. There are specific sizes of some of my images that have not been optimized. Most probably these have been created by my theme. The most troublesome is my featured image as it is the largest image in most of my posts. I have located the images in my uploads folder within wp-content. They are saved with their names ending in slightly reduced dimensions.

Is there a way I can optimize those images through Optimus. Kindly guide me regarding how I can achieve that or help me in resolving the issue in some other way.

    Thanks,
    Anirudh.

  • Are those images available in your WordPress Media Library? If so, you should be able to find them in there and optimize them.

If not, you can find the specific images within your /wp-content folder, download them locally and optimize them using the Optimus API: https://optimus.keycdn.com/support/image-compression-api/. Once the optimization is complete, you can re-upload those optimized images and remove the unoptimized ones.
