Hi tomucho,
thanks for reaching out.
The functionality of the code you inject with Advanced Ads and the resources that are additionally loaded by this code has no connection to the ad type you use.
As your findings indicate it’s more resource-consuming to load more code in general so it makes no difference which kind of AdSense code you execute on your website.
For usability, it’s much handier to use the AdSense ad type because of its direct connection to your AdSense account and no need for c&p or manually editing the code.
Please see this manual about measuring page performance from the Advanced Ads point of view.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,
Henning
Hi Henning,
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and the manual.
I have selected AdSense ad type in your plugin.
After reading your manual I went to adsense to find if I was using “asynchronous ad tags” but couldn’t figure out where this was.
I am not sure if “asynchronous ad tags” are included in text type ads.
Cheers,
jS

Hey jS,
Thanks for the question.
“Asynchronous ad tags” are the default standard with AdSense. So if you just take the ads as they are delivered from Google you are fine.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Best regards,
Henning
