# Optimize images

 * Hi,
 * I use a theme where it shows the image sizes to be inserted, like 600 x 300, 
   but this same image appears in small space like big space.
 * I tried to install plugins to optimize the images, among them it says I have 
   to crop the image.
 * How do I make the images not too heavy and the site lighter?
    Do image optimization
   plugins transform and replace all images or just optimize as images are used?
 * Can someone help me make the site lighter. I use the Traveler theme.
