Optimize Form Loading Speed

    Hi,

    Is there a way to optimise the form loading speeds? It gets quite slow with multi forms and forms with calculations, and this is a big red flag for clients so I’d like to know if there is a way I can make the forms load faster. Alternatively, is there a way to input a loading symbol while the form is loading because right now it just is blank until the form appears, which can make a visitor think nothing is there, and it looks very unprofessional.     Hi @mebencotransports,

    Could you share the URL of the page containing the form in question so we can have a look and see what could be affecting the loading times?

    Preloader is not an option at the moment I’m afraid, but it’s something on our to-do list for one of the future improvements.

    I know what is causing the 3 second load time; it is a huge calculator. Cutting down on the amount of items is not plausible, so it’s fine if there’s nothing that can be done. I just wanted to be sure.

    Hello @mebencotransports ,

    I’m terribly sorry for the delay on our side! Looks like your response slipped through the cracks 🙁

    I’ve checked your form and indeed the whole page loads 2.5 – 2.8 sec on my side. I assume that you are already loading form using Ajax.
    Unfortunately, we can’t use caching on those forms to load faster :/
    If it’s not possible to limit elements on the form then there is nothing we can to do to speed it up more.
    The good news is that forms will get preloaders in one of the future updates, so it will look better for big forms.
