I have connected Publicize to my website. It will automatically send new posts to Facebook upon publishing. I would like to only use this feature on the weekends.

I know I can uncheck the box for Facebook at any time before the post is published, but is there a way to have the connection, but have the default be to NOT post, unless I choose to click the box?

If not, may I request that feature be added? It would be very helpful to me since several others post to my website. I’d rather the links not be shared immediately, unless it is something I scheduled for the weekend.

    Thank you.

We had a filter that would make the Publicize connections unchecked by default, but there seems to be a known issue where it’s not working anymore. Unfortunately, there isn’t a fix available yet. But it is on our radar, and you can follow along with our progress here:

I hope that clarifies things! Let me know if you have any questions. Marking as resolved as it’s a known issue.
