    Hi there,

I am using s2Member (Pro) and just installed Mailchimp/MC4WP and User Sync. When I created the user list, somehow, an automatic opt-in email was sent to all users (“Please confirm subscription”).

The problem is that if a user does not subscribe to the list, they keep receiving the email (up to 10 times so far).

Where can I see who received this email? How can I stop it from being sent? Why do they keep getting it??

    Thank you!

    Hello,

In the “User Sync” plugin settings, if you set the option of “Users Must Optin” to “No”, then all would be subscribed. The emails are sent to them by MailChimp.com and not us if you also had enabled “Double Opt-in”.

Please note that the “User Sync” plugin would be discontinued within the next few days so I would not recommend using it anymore.

    Hi,

    Thank you, I’ll try that.

If User Sync is discontinued, will there be another plugin that syncs our users with their Mailchimp subscription? Or is there an other way to make sure that all users are updated?

    Hello,

The set of features from “User Sync” plugin would be added to our premium plugin.
