Opt-in Link Problem, new install of 3.4.4

    Hello,

    I am just trying this plugin for the first time. It looks wonderful and feature-filled, but I am having a problem with the option-link in the email sent for double opt-in.

    The problem is that it is putting the URL in the link twice. From the HTML source, here is an example of the link (details edited for security)

    option-link is a auto-correct fail… it should read opt-in link, in other words, the confirmation link in the opt-in email, when using double opt-in, and HTML email.

    This seems to be a very unusual issue and when trying to replicate it I was unable to replicate it.
    This needs to be investigated deeply to understand the root cause of it.It would be great if you write to us here.

    Please let me know your views on the same.

    Thank you for the reply. It is an odd thing. I took a quick dig through the code and can see where the link is being assembled, but didn’t see anything obvious. I’m also beginning to wonder if my email client’s html parser is doing something wrong. I raise that question, as I can consistently reproduce it in emails coming to me, and only with the confirmation link, others are fine… but I have had a couple peers (using gmail) test subscriptions and have had no reports from them.

    Please update Email Subscribers to the latest version 3.4.8 as it fixes this issue.
