    Dear

    We have been using MailPoet for some time and we are very satisfied with your plugin.

    We are using the ‘opt-in on checkout’ feature on our WooCommerce checkout page. This checkbox is unchecked by default by your plugin. Because this checkbox is unchecked we notice that we receive less subscribers than before.

    Is there any possibility to check this checkbox by default? This way we have more chance of getting subscribers.

    Unfortunately, that’s not possible. The Opt-in at Checkout checkbox is designed to be unchecked by default, and it is against our policies to have it pre-checked.

    A customer should explicitly agree to receive marketing e-mails, so it’s important to make this their choice.

    If you feel customers are not subscribing through the checkout, I’d suggest reviewing if the opt-in checkbox is visible enough. If not, you can use CSS to style it better.

    You can also change the text to invite your customers to join your lists in MailPoet > Settings > WooCommerce tab.
