Opinions on paid theme support (7 posts)

I'm no pro, but I have created enough WordPress sites to know that theme compatibility and support are two huge things - even above features, etc. I am looking to purchase a theme package (from a company that has been around a while) and am looking for opinions on best/worst support there is out there. I know some companies you will be lucky to get a reply in a week and others are lighting fast and thorough.
    Just looking for some input.

Have you looked at the commercial themes section?

I know Theme Foundry has some good stuff, CyberChimps does as well and Theme Hybrid are some of the ones I would suggest you look at first.

Make sure you find out the limitations of the support they provide (by asking them), some vendors will only support bug fixes while others will help you out with some modifications. All probably have limitations.

Thanks to both of you. I was considering cyberchimps. Any experience with their support? Andrew can I ask u if u have a preferance in theme authors? I will check out the commercial themes section Jose.
    Thanks again

I run Theme Hybrid, which is listed on the commercial themes section. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have about it.

So is StudioPress. they both give me my money's worth!
