# Operating System Issue

 * Hi,
 * I am using your ticket system and its great the only issue I can find is when
   a user creates a ticket and it shows their Operating System to the agent, this
   operating system isn’t accurate. For example I created a test ticket and it showed
   in the ticket info as operating system Windows 10 but I am using Windows 11.
 * Is this the expected behaviour or is there a setting somewhere I’ve not done 
   correctly?

 * What you’re seeing is expected behavior and not a misconfiguration on your side.
   The operating system shown in the ticket is based on the browser’s User-Agent
   string. Since the release of Windows 11, Microsoft has chosen to keep the same
   identifier (`Windows NT 10.0`) that was used for Windows 10.
 * As a result, browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox all report Windows 11 devices
   as Windows 10 in the User-Agent. This is intentional and done for compatibility
   reasons, so applications relying on that data can’t reliably distinguish between
   the two versions.
 * So in short — everything is working as designed, even though it may look a bit
   misleading.
