# opens wrong page

 * I am having issues with URL’s redirecting. Example.
 * I have an image that has a link to
 * [http://ackermansfineart.com/gallery-item/jim-dine-drunk-running](http://ackermansfineart.com/gallery-item/jim-dine-drunk-running)
 * you can see that this is the link when you hover on the image. However when it
   is clicked on it goes to:
 * [http://ackermansfineart.com/gallery-item/jim-dine-random-sewing/](http://ackermansfineart.com/gallery-item/jim-dine-random-sewing/)
 * To see an example go to [http://ackermansfineart.com/fine-art-concierge-gallery-ackermans/](http://ackermansfineart.com/fine-art-concierge-gallery-ackermans/)
   
   and you will see the image bottom row middle.
 * My permalinks are set to post name. I noticed if i change the name from jim-dine-
   drunk-running to something else, it will load the correct page. However if i 
   change it back it loads the wrong page again. It is happening all over the site
   and it would be easier to find out what is causing the issue then having to track
   down ever wrong link and update the slug. PLEASE HELP!!!

 * Hi,
 * It is probably bc. you used that URL – slug before and it’s saved in the database
   as an old slug. So if you created another post with the same slug it redirects
   to the one what was changed from old to new one.
    If you are a little bit familiar
   with a database, check wp_postmeta – table wp_old_slug and find that one and 
   delete it.

 * THANKS!!! Yes that was it. I went into the database and cleared the old slugs
   and it fixed my issue!
