  • If you’re not a developer, WordPress is not something you would just install on your desktop computer.

    See https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Detailed_Instructions

Short: The compressed package (latest.zip for Windows or latest.tar.gz for Linux) is to be extracted into files in a folder tree on your computer. Then uploaded to the web host you have chosen to host your site.

Or ask your web host how to install WordPress (if you already have access to cPanel you may find Softaculous in there and let it do it).

If you just want a blog or site and have no intention of managing your own WordPress installation on web host, then http://wordpress.com/ may be the service provider you should use to just register yourself for a blog or web site.

May be you need to try this one if you want to install it locally, may be this what you are looking for, it have the full package installation for all WordPress.

    https://bitnami.com/stack/wordpress

    try it if you like
