# Opening outside connection?

 * could it be possible that something in W3 total cache would be opening a connection
   to an outside web service at this address:
 * tcp: 999.999.999.99:44071 -> 54.243.73.154:80
 * my index file is supposedly calling it
    /usr/bin/php /home/mysite/public_html/
   index.php
 * the IP seems to map back to an amazon server (ec2-54-243-73-154.compute-1.amazonaws.
   com). my server is complaining the php process is running for a very long time,
   probably never getting a response and doesn’t know enough to time out.
 * when I grep my entire WP install I only get hits for aws calls in W3 Total Cache.
 * Any help is greatly appreciated.
