# opening install.php does nothing

 * need some help.
 * after uploading all the wordpress files in the designated folder on my hosting
   i try to install wordpress by opening install.php in the browser (with the full
   address) but nothing happens. there’s no error message, just a blank page.
 * where could the problem be?

 * forgot to mention that the hosting provider crated the database and provided 
   all the information (hostname, username, pass) for the database.

 * ok, due to the overwhelming amount of support and advice, decided to upload the
   entire content of wordpress again and the installation worked this time.
