    Hi,

I’m creating a blog with video and audio posts. I want that all these posts open in popup windows, instead of on a new page. I was told that this can be done using this plugin, however I can not figure it out. I saw that you have to add the modal-ready id to the post, but how do I do that? I am not too familiar with coding, and would like to find a way to accomplish this without having to go into the back-end coding.

I am using Elementor Pro with Astra theme.

If there is a way to make all future posts have this ID then that would be great, otherwise if I need to add it to every post I make, I can do that as well. But need help on how to do that.

    Thanks

The popup plugin isn’t fully compatible with Elementor. Making that happen will likely require some customization.

We’re not too familiar with Elementor, but there’s probably a way to add an ID to a row element. This would be manual however.

We do offer customization services: https://allurewebsolutions.com/project-planner

    Hello,

I’d like to ask if the posts with media like video (and video players ) are compatible with the popup windows. And second is there any documentation how to customize the what and how will be shown from the post archive??

Not sure what you mean by shown from post archive, but here is instructions on customizing: https://allurewebsolutions.com/open-wordpress-post-modal-without-plugin#customize

Many media players will not work without customization, particularly if they are served by 3rd party plugins, but if they are html5 or default wordpress, then they might work. Worth a try.
