In need of some help completing the following:

    Open Verification Requests

To prove you are authorized to represent a site, we ask you to place a specially named, blank file in your root Web directory. Once this file is created, click the “Verify” button to have our servers look for the file on your site. Please be sure that both your site and the verification file are publicly accessible.

I am not really sure how to do this or if it can be done. I googled it and it seems there is not a solution without disabling all plug-ins and changing the theme. Any help would be awesome.

It looks like you just follow the directions in the message.

Step 1) create the file, and then save the file with the name they tell you to save it with.

Step 2) Upload the file to your web site root directory using an ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel.

Step 3) Start the verification process.
