Hi Annie.
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, you can uncheck the “Open links in new window?” option on our plugin (just under title) and then it won’t display the text of the accesibility plugin.
Another option it’s to contact the other plugin in case it allow to add exceptions on some places (and apply it to SSI plugin).
I hope that helps.
Best.

Hi @nahuai. Thanks for your help! I do have that box unchecked, but the default still appears to be that the links open in a new tab. The accessibility plugin adds an icon for any link set to open in a new window or new tab. Is there any way to get them to open in the same tab?
Thanks!
Annie
Hi Annie.
I see on the HTML of the website you provided that there a is target=”_blank” attribute on social icons, which means it will open in a new tab.
If you didn’t check that option in our plugin it means that, probably, the accessibility plugin added it. So you would have to talk with them to figure it out how you change that behaviour.
In summary, our plugin only opens in a new tab if you check that option. If the accessibility plugin it’s altering that behaviour, sadly, we can’t do anything about.

@nahuai thank you! I have been talking to the accessibility plugin developer but I will ask if their plugin added it.
Thanks!
Annie
