My default (and only) template is allready set to open in new window.
I think the problem is only when the feeds are shown in a sidebar/widget.
@littlemailman thanks for getting back to me so quickly. In that case, it’s typically the theme that would be setting that behaviour, so I recommend reaching out to the theme developers to see how you can alter that within the widget areas.
I just solved it now by adding target=’_blank’ in wp-includes/widgets.php before class=’rsswidget’
