Open links in a new tab

    Is there another way to open links added to a gallery thumbnail in a new tab (target=”_blank”) than to add code to the functions php? Is this probably an option included in the pro version or planned for coming versions?

    Hi @annetteschwindt,

    If you view your images in the Manage Items tab while editing your gallery and click on the “i” icon for one of the images, you’ll see an option to set the Custom Target to “New Tab”.

    You can do this for each of your images to open the external link in a new tab. This works in both the Free and Pro version of our plugin.

    Thank you so much, @phillcoxon. How could I overlook that? I had looked in the wrong kind of gallery first…
