Open Lightbox when a thumbnail in the Portfolio is clicked

    Hi together,

    I was googling for hours and hours, but I couldn’t find a solution for my problem.
    I would like to have a lightbox-overlay opened when I click a thumbnail in my Portfolio, NOT the usual Portfolio-Item page.
    I use the Portfolio Press theme with the portfolio post type plugin. I also installed Lightbox Plus, but I couldn’t make it run until now.

    OMG, I got it! But it’s a really inconvenient way… You need two Plugins for it:

    1. “Page links to” -> With this Plugin you can set the link of a Portfolio . After the installation a new Box appears when you create or a edit a portfolio item. Here you have to set the direct link to the image file on the server.

    2. “add-rel-lightbox” -> With this Plugin a rel=”lightbox” is automatically added to every image link.

    Now the lightbox openes when you click an image in the portfolio, hooray! 🙂

    Brilliant, I, like you have been searching for hours to try and work out how to do this! If only a link to this info came up a bit higher in the google list! Cheers, Al

    Hi.

    I have been trying for days to figure this out and was so glad that when i found this thread. I added the “page links to” and think i added the “add-rel”lightbox” but thats where it stoped. Dont know if im doing something wrong or if i missed something.
