# Open in browser – wp-admin/install.php

 * I’m new. So far, I uploaded the wordpress directory to my hosted domain using
   my FTP app.
    I am now lost, because I can open the install.php in my browser 
   but there is nothing to guide me. All I see is code:
 * OK I’m guessing PHP is not turned on (see below)… any advice how to do that?
 * ‘WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not
   have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.’
 * I’m supposed to install in 5 minutes? So I was a little disappointed.

 * Is there not a place in your namecheap admin panel to install WordPress? You 
   don’t need to install WordPress manually. Maybe you should contact namecheap

 * Hi, complete novice so please treat with care… I managed to upload WordPress 
   to my 123 domain account and started to play about with my new webpage, all worked
   fine. I can’t access my admin page now after logging on, the dashboard page is
   just blank. I can access my page via [http://www.fochabersfishbar.co.uk/wordpress1/](http://www.fochabersfishbar.co.uk/wordpress1/).

 * Please start your own thread. That way you stand a good chance of getting full
   attention to your specific issue. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue
   is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical
   servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem,
