the open graph tag images are not showing correctly on Facebook. When I share a blog post, the long Pinterest image is shown instead of the Facebook one.

Also, when I try to validate a URL on Pinterest, I get an error that there article doesn’t have a title when It does. I have to use Social Warfare to put the title and image as Yoast SEO is no longer working correctly.

The problem is that I have a lot of blog posts that use Yoast’s open graph tag.

The app was working fine. Last week is when the problems started.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v10.0.1? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

Also, if you are seeing unexpected behavior or appearance for one of your site’s social previews when sharing it on social media, this can be caused by the social media site caching old metadata for that page. This is why you may not immediately see the new values you set up for the page reflected in the page’s preview when you share it (image, title, description, etc).

To resolve this, we would first recommend to try checking your page’s link using Facebook’s Sharing Debugger tool located at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/. Can you please try running the Facebook Sharing Debugger on the page you are experiencing the issue on, and under ‘When and how we last scraped the URL’ clicking the ‘Scrape Again’ option and letting us know whether this resolves the issue? The ‘Scrape Again’ option will force Facebook to update it’s cache for your page’s link.

Please note that to successfully update the cache it may require re-scraping your page several times as whether the page’s data can be read may take several requests between Facebook and the server your website is hosted on. Also, this guide includes more information on this and explains in detail how to do this: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/facebook-sharing-updated-details/

It was actually the plugin Social Warfare that was messing up with my Open Graph images and links. Yoast SEO is working as it should. Thank you for your quick reply and help!
